I still remember that first trip to Mongolia. The sun was rising over the Gobi Desert, painting the copper-colored earth with golden light, while an almost unreal blue sky stretched infinitely above us. Moments of sharing under the yurts, exchanges with nomadic shepherds, a raw and silent beauty that changes you definitively. It was there, in that striking landscape, that Studio Cashmere8 truly took shape in my mind.

 

That adventure is our story. And today, I want to tell you why we created it and, most importantly, why it truly matters.

 

A meeting, a fiber, an obsession

 

Studio Cashmere8 was born from a passion for knitting and an exceptional material: cashmere. With my partners, whom I had the chance to meet throughout my career in the fashion and textile industry, we have long shared the same love for this noble fiber. It’s not a childhood friendship; it’s something sometimes even stronger: a bond forged in work, mutual respect, and a common vision of what fashion should be.

 

The number "8" in our name? It’s all of our birth month, of course, but it’s also the symbol of infinity. The infinity of our bond. The infinity of our passion for this material. And the infinity of what we want to offer you: timeless pieces that stand the test of time without ever going out of style.

 

Cashmere, an ethical conviction

 

When you truly love something, you can't ignore what's happening behind the scenes. From the beginning, we refused to work with intermediaries. Not out of an obsession with control, but out of respect – respect for the material, the artisans, and you who wear our pieces.

 

We work exclusively with OEKO-TEX certified supply chains, which guarantee the complete absence of harmful substances at every stage: spinning, dyeing, knitting, finishing. We have had our partners sign a charter on animal welfare and environmental respect. And we ensure that every human link in our production chain is treated with dignity: no child labor, healthy working conditions, respected fundamental rights.

 

This isn't marketing. It's a deep conviction that we've held since day one.

What nourishes me, what inspires me season after season, is travel. Each new collection is born from a destination, an immersion in a culture, a light, a particular atmosphere. I go, I observe, I feel, and I return with a palette, desires for shapes, a story to tell through the stitches.
