Prints

Solid cashmere is a given. Printed cashmere is a signature. The Les Imprimés collection from Studio Cashmere8 dares to do what few cashmere houses attempt: printing and dyeing patterns on one of the world's noblest fibers, without ever sacrificing softness or material quality. The result is a rare piece that combines the elegance of cashmere with the character of a strong pattern. Hand-dyed tie & dye gradients, Provençal cicadas, floral motifs, contemporary graphics: each print is designed in harmony with the material, to create pieces that stand out without being ostentatious. Made from 100% pure Mongolian cashmere, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. Worn with jeans to break up the sophistication, or with tailored trousers to fully embrace their character, Studio Cashmere8 printed pieces are for women who like to stand out.

Printed cashmere, a statement piece

Printing or dyeing cashmere is a gamble: you have to add a pattern without ever betraying the softness of the fiber. This is the whole purpose of this collection, where hand-dyed tie-dye coexists with Provençal cicadas, floral motifs, and contemporary graphics. Pieces that stand out, made from 100% pure Mongolian cashmere.

Two families, two characters

The collection is divided into two universes. On one hand, our tie & dyegradients, hand-dyed piece by piece: no two items are exactly alike, with shades ranging from camel to brown, ecru to violet, and light gray to anthracite. On the other hand, our prints—Provençal cicadas, floral motifs, contemporary graphics—are designed in harmony with the material to assert character without ever weighing down the knit.

On which pieces?

These motifs can be found on crew neck sweaters, V-necks with batwing sleeves, light t-shirtsand shawl collar jackets, as well as on our kimono cardigans. Enough to wear prints in both summer and winter.

How to wear a printed item

A printed item is self-sufficient: let it be the highlight of the outfit. Paired with raw denim, it breaks the sophistication of cashmere for a casual look; with plain tailored trousers, it fully embraces its character. The rule is simple: only one printed item at a time, the rest in neutral tones.

Caring for a hand-dyed item

Tie-dye and printed items require a little attention: hand wash in cold water, separately during the first few washes, with a special wool detergent. Never wring the knit, dry flat, away from light to preserve the vibrancy of the colors. Our detailed advice can be found on the cashmere carepage.
